Dynamic Objects Implementation

Hi there everyone!A fellow coworker and I are brainstorming ideas for how we can use Dynamic Objects within our workflow. We have started using it in a few small cases and would really like to see how much farther we can go with it.What are some ways in which you use dynamic objects in your workflow? We have a few applications that don’t have existing plugins in Front that I could see being extremely helpful via dynamic objects. I believe there is a way to build those out ourselves, or am I mistaken?Thanks for any help!

Historical Conversations Best Practices Views and Tags

Historical Conversations Best Practices Views and Tags Is it best to audit and apply tags prior to or after migration? If keywords can be used to create a search and then apply tags for past conversations, then after the tags are applied, conversations with those tags will be visible in the Tags Report, correct? Is it best practice to create a View for Historical Conversations? If Nested Tags do not display in the analytics dashboard itself, should they be be used at all, or are their specific use cases for a Nested tag, if they are not displayed in the analytics dashboard?Nested tags in AnalyticsThe tag path will be displayed in any tag dropdown menu, however, the tag path will not display in the analytics dashboard itself.

Dynamic Objects Help

Hey all,We thought we were utilizing all of Front’s features…. until today when we learned about dynamic objects - mind blown! Since I am not a developer, we’re seeking any tips, tricks or help articles for how to configure a dynamic variable when the Target URL doesn’t include the “text pattern.” For example, I’d like to create a dynamic variable for our Order numbers, but our Salesforce link doesn’t actually ID the order number in the URL. Thanks for any advice!

Auto Replies and Distribution Lists

Auto replies are a big selling point that our teams would like to take advantage of, but we typically run into issues since using a distribution list is not compatible with the feature per testing and the setup guide. Has anyone found a good workaround, or an easy way to automate replies when there’s a distribution list in the recipients field?

Configure a dynamic object for an MC number & Fraud Detect

Two questions:1.-Ive completed the walk through for the Highway intergration. The issue i have is there are many different ways carriers, cusotmers, fastors, etc….use MC. EXAMPLES: MC#123435, MC# 12345, MC12345, MC 123345, MC: 123445. Im catching very few MC’s because of this, Am i missing something? I could create seperate objects, but that would consume a ton of time. (a copy or ability to use dyamic objects for other links, or an OR statement) 2.- Fraud detector, im getting multiple comments in conversations at times, i understood that the custom senders object was supposed to stop that part. Any help would be great.

Email pairing

During Frontlines 2023 it was mentioned that the ability to link separate email threads together would be coming soon. How soon will that feature be coming? We typically have 2 email threads for every shipment and this will definitely save us some time! I am using Dynamics to get there now, but I can only imagine the ease of use this will add!

How do I stop new emails attaching to archived threads?

HiOur team of 5 receive email requests into the shared inbox from a defined pool of around 50 service users. Sometimes it might be two or three months between an email from the same person.Currently, we’re finding that a new email request will often attach to an old thread from that same service user, even if that thread was previously archived (sometimes months, even years ago!) The new email will also be assigned to the same person who dealt with the original thread.Similarly, if the same service user sends over multiple requests in a short period, they all end up attaching to each other and being assigned to the person who dealt with the original request.This can make it harder to spot the new requests, as it looks they are already assigned and being dealt with by another team member.I suppose what I’m asking is, is there an easy way to prevent new emails attaching to old archived threads? Setting Up Automation to Individual Users

Hello! We currently have 4 account managers spread over 100+ clients. I’m curious what you may suggest as to how we can route these to the appropriate account manager? Currently the AMs monitor one singular inbox and assign the messages as appropriate, but I think if we may trigger them to automatically send to the AMs, it will help reduce our main inbox.Thoughts?

Hello! I’ve recently ben working through the FCA certification, and I’m excited by all the different aspects of Front that are available. I’m the head of the B2B division of my company, and serve as the admin for our employees who use Front, primarily our sales and customer service teams.I’m wondering if there are any users who already use the same services that I use, and if you’ve figured out any clever context links that I could implement in my system. The most common services we receive communication from are Faire, QuickBooks, Asana, Shopify, and Dialpad Voice. If anyone has developed custom fields or context links for these services, I’d love to hear about it.Thanks in advance!

Custom Views and Tags

Hi,We work with custom views to divide inboxes because we don't have teammates for individual topics, but we have different teams for different areas. We sort these views using tags and corresponding rules. If we remove such a TAG, the conversation will, of course, immediately disappear from the view. It is then relatively difficult to find them again, e.g. to archive, reply or set another TAG.Do you have any suggestions for solutions to this? BestNina
