Deep Linking to a Contact

I would like to deep link to all conversations with a contact in Front. The URL `<card ID>/latest` takes me to a list of all the conversations with the contact. But for the life of me, I can't figure out where that card ID comes from. Looking through the API docs doesn't show anything about a "card ID". Please help, as the need to directly link to conversations with a particular contact is very important to what I am building.

  • Hey Dan,

"Cards" in this case refers to contact cards, an internal id that we use for contacts part of a contact group.

You can obtain a list of cards for a specific contact group with: slug>/card_groups/<group slug>/cards

You can obtain a list of card groups with: slug>/card_groups

Please let me know if you have any additional questions!

  • Cori Morris Thanks for the info. I am able to get the first 50 cards in a group. How do I page through the entire list?

  • Hey Dan,

You can obtain the next group with the query parameter `offset`.  (eg. ?offset=50, ?offset=100, etc.)
