Beta Android App

A completely redesigned, re-engineered, native Android app has arrived! Sign up for the beta version here and get access in the coming hours.

Office 365 Support

You can now connect your Office 365 account via IMAP! In Front, go into your Settings, select Inboxes, and Add a team inbox, and Front will automatically recognize any Office 365 inbox you try to add. 

Front + Bot integration

We’ve partnered with our first bot platform: Meya.ai. This integration strikes the perfect balance between automation and human input, and as always with Front, it's 100% transparent to your customers. If you've ever thought of adding a bot to your workflow, you should check it out

Inbox Split

Part of Front’s magic is that we don't needlessly duplicate emails: an email sent to two or more shared inboxes in Front is treated as one single conversation. That being said, sometimes the sender is expecting a response from both recipients, so you’ll want two different copies of that conversation. 

If you're in this situation, you can now take any inbox out of this rule and make sure each inbox gets their own copy of the email. Email us to get access!

Variables in Canned Responses 

We’ve made huge improvements to the way dynamic variables work. Here’s what’s new:

  • When creating a canned response, type {{ to see a list of available variables.
  • When using a canned response, variables will be highlighted so you can spot check them at a glance.
  • When updating the To recipient, variables will automatically refresh with the new recipient’s information.

Other Improvements

  • We’ve released a new version for Windows that now fully supports SSO.
  • We’ve added new rule conditions: if message has attachments / has no attachment.
  • We’ve added a new rule action: you can now assign in turn (also known as round-robin).
