How to send a calendar invite in Front

Calendar invites can be sent directly from Front's composer so you can spend less time hopping back and forth between Front and your calendar solution.

Step 1

Click the pencil at the top left corner to compose a new message. Once the composer appears, click the paper clip and select Insert calendar invite.Step 2

Fill out the invite for your event and click Add.Step 3

The invite will be added to your email. Now, apply the finishing touches to your invite before sending. Once you send this calendar invite, it will automatically reflect in your calendar and the time slot will be blocked out with the information listed in the email invite.

  • The calendar invite feature is not working as described on my Mac.  Above it says " will automatically reflect in your calendar and the time slot will be blocked out with the information listed in the email invite..." - when we click on the invite.ics, nothing happens (it does not get added to a calendar).

  • How do you make changes to the calendar invite in the case of rescheduling?

  • Reid Burnett Changes will only be made on your calendar invite. There's no way to change the full invite for your recipients. It's best to delete and recreate the invite.

That renders the calendar integration useless and will not use that feature again. It's handy but how often are events rescheduled!?

Additionally, Google calendar in the browser restricts the event from being edited, so it must be deleted which tells the invitees the event was cancelled.

It sets up a really bad user experience for Front users and our clients.
