Highlighting Tags

Front’s newest feature gives you the power to highlight tags in the conversation panel. By customizing your tags with an eye-catching color or a favorite emoji ⭐️, you’ll be able to easily identify which conversations to work on first and act on them with more efficiency.

Pro-tip: Use rules to auto-tag conversations that need to be prioritized or should have a special call out.

    It would be great if emoji type tags could always show to the right of all other highlighted tags. This would make our inbox feel much cleaner when there are multiple highlighted tags on a conversation.  

    We use a blue_dot that is automatically set with a rule to mark messages that are assigned. Currently, the icon always shows to the left of all the tags.  I attached an image of what we would like it to look like.

  • We would also like the ability to set the highlight on a tag through the API. We automatically create tags for each customer that emails us. Currently, our team has to manually set the highlight for each customer.

  • Even before API access, I find these tag properties (tag is highlighted, highlight color/emoji) should be available in Settings (My Tags, and Company:Tags). The current access is confusing to find, relative to Settings, and is only through a conversation's tags' menus, so is clunky in requiring a conversation be tagged with the tag before the tag can be configured. Thanks!
