Validating an inbox
When adding a new SMTP inbox via a redirect, we ask you to validate that the redirect is working correctly. We will simply send an email to your public address and wait until it arrives in Front. This helps troubleshoot most of the setup issues.
While we encourage you to validate inboxes immediately after creating them, you can choose to do it at a later time by selecting Not now. However, to prevent abuse, you won't be able to reply from your inbox until we can validate that you own the address.
Go into your Settings and select Inboxes. Scroll down the list, and click on the inbox you wish the validate.
Select the channel.
Select Send test email.
This button will send an email to your inbox address. If the redirect is set up correctly and the email successfully comes through to your Front inbox, then your inbox has been validated.
If the button does not appear, it means that your address has already been validated and you don't need to do anything else.
